HLH LLC

Hawaiian Legacy Hardwoods (HLH, HLH.co) is a sustainable forestry company that plants koa trees for harvest. Since its inception, HLH has planted more koa trees than any other entity in the state. In a given year, HLH facilities are capable of generating 100,000 seedlings, installing 25 miles of fence, and planting 200 acres of native trees and shrubs.

Hawaiian Legacy Reforestation Initiative

Hawaiian Legacy Reforestation Initiative (HLRI, LegacyTrees.org) is a nonprofit organization founded in 2014 that works to create generational sustainably managed forest ecosystems, create green jobs in forestry and related areas, protect endangered species, sequester carbon, and recharge watersheds.

Legacy Carbon

Legacy Carbon (LegacyCarbon.com), launched in 2015, has set the standard in forest carbon in the United States. It is the only certified carbon credit of any kind in Hawaii, the only Gold Standard- certified forest carbon credit in North America and the only koa carbon credit in the world.

Hawaiian Legacy Tours

Hawaiian Legacy Tours (HLT), (HawaiianLegacyTours.com) is an award-winning eco-tour company founded in 2014 that provides opportunities for guests to visit the Legacy Forest and plant endemic Hawaiian Legacy Trees. HLT offers a variety of transportation venues into the Legacy Forest including UTVs, horseback riding and by helicopter.

Hamakua Mill Company

Hamakua Mill Company (LegacyKoa.com) is the final piece of the Hawaiian Legacy family of companies, partnering with HLRI to manage all necessary milling and logging operations for the Legacy Forest. The revenues generated from these services allow HLRI to further its mission of planting more endemic trees and expanding the Legacy Forest.
